We provide opportunities to celebrate the ocean and encourage collaboration between local artists, Bay Area students, environmental non-profits, and government agencies to raise awareness about ocean plastic pollution and inspire change.
In years past Message in a Bottle has sought artwork created by K-12 school students from around the Bay Area. Art illustrated the damaging effects of single use plastics on our oceans and marine life and inspired communities to take action and become part of the solution.
Art was created by hand, digital, 1D, 2D, 3D, drawings, paintings, mobiles, sculptures, etc. Plastics found at home, take out dining and neighborhood or beach clean ups are good inspirations.
